Steven Head
President
Steven Head serves as the President of Renfrew Hydro, he is a seasoned finance executive who brings a wealth of experience as a professional accountant. Before joining Renfrew Hydro, Steven held progressively senior positions in finance at Scapa Tapes NA Ltd from 2005 to 2020, culminating as the Canadian Finance Manager. Earlier in his career, he built a strong foundation in public accounting through roles as a Staff Accountant with firms in Ottawa and Renfrew.
Steven holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from St. Francis Xavier University and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario.
James Riopelle
Manager of Operations
James Riopelle has over 30 years of experience in the electricity industry, with deep expertise in utility operations and infrastructure. As a certified Journeyman Power Line Maintainer and licensed Master Electrician, he plays a critical role in overseeing the operations, maintenance and design of Renfrew’s electrical distribution system. His extensive technical knowledge and hands-on leadership ensures safe, reliable delivery of power to the community.
